Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
