The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and extended shade, 30 And water everflowing. 31 and fruit abounding, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
