The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
