Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
