Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I CALL TO WITNESS the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching soul. 2 Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 3 Indeed yes, We are able to shape his fingerstips yet again! 4 None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him, 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 So when the sight becomes dazed, 7 And the moon shall be ecliped. 8 And the sun and moon are joined together,- 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 No indeed; not a refuge! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat on that day. 12 On that Day the human shall be informed of his former and latter deeds. 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Stir not thy tongue herewith to hasten it. 16 Surely on Us (devolves) the collecting of it and the reciting of it. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 and then, behold, it will be for Us to make its meaning clear. 19 Nay! But you love the present life, 20 And leave (neglect) the Hereafter. 21 On that day, some faces will shine with freshness. 22 Looking to their Lord. 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them; 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?" 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and calf is inter-twined with calf. 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30
