Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
