Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. 59 A group of his people said to him, "You are absolutely wrong." 60 He said: O my people! not with me is the error, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 I deliver to you the messages of my Lord, and I offer you good advice and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Do you find it so strange that a message should come from your Lord through a man from among yourselves, so that he may warn you and so that you may fear God and be shown mercy?" 63 But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! 64
