3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And We preserved his descendants. 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called out: "O Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
