And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
