28 verses, revealed in Mecca after A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf) before Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur'an, 1 "which guides to the Right Way; so we have come to believe in it, and we will not associate aught with Our Lord in His Divinity”; 2 And that He-- exalted be the majesty of our Lord-- has not taken a consort, nor a son: 3 The dimwit one (the devil) among us has been telling confused lies about God. 4 'And verily, we thought that men and jinns would not utter a lie against Allah. 5 Yet [it has always happened] that certain kinds of humans would seek refuge with certain kinds of [such] invisible forces: but these only increased their confusion 6 And indeed they supposed, even as ye suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone (from the dead) - 7 ‘And we reached the sky, so we found it strongly guarded and filled with comets.’ 8 We would sit there on seats to hear; but any listening now finds a meteor in wait for him. 9 'And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct. 10 Some of us are righteous, but some are otherwise, we are sects that differ. 11 "'And withal, we have come to know that we can never elude God [while we live] on earth, and that we can never elude Him by escaping [from life]. 12 When we heard the Guidance, we believed in it, and whosoever believes in his Lord shall fear neither shortage nor injustice. 13 Some of us have come to submission, and some of us are iniquitous.'" Those who have submitted have taken the right course; 14 but as for those who abandon themselves to wrongdoing - they are indeed but fuel for [the fires of] hell!'" 15 If they had followed the right path, We would have provided them with abundant rain -- 16 So that We might try them with respect to it; and whoever turns aside from the reminder of his Lord, He will make him enter into an afflicting chastisement: 17 All places of worship are for God; so do not invoke any one with God. 18 And that when the servant of Allah stood up calling upon Him, they wellnigh crowded him (to death). 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
