The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
