Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

We have indeed sent down the Qur’an in the Night of Destiny. 1 And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months: 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
