Say: 'God suffices as a witness between me and you.' He knows whatsoever is in the heavens and earth. Those who believe in vanity and disbelieve in God -- those, they are the losers. 52 They demand that you hasten the punishment! But had it not been for the stated term, the punishment would come to them; it will come upon them suddenly when they are unaware. 53 They bid thee hasten on the doom, when lo! hell verily will encompass the disbelievers 54 On the day when the chastisement shall cover them from above them, and from beneath their feet; and He shall say: Taste what you did. 55 O My servants who have believed, indeed My earth is spacious, so worship only Me. 56 Every soul has to know the taste of death. You will then be sent back to Us. 57 We shall house those who believed and acted righteously in the lofty mansions of Paradise beneath which rivers flow. There they shall remain for ever. How excellent a reward it is for those who acted (in obedience to Allah), 58 Those who patiently endured and who rely only upon their Lord. 59 How many a beast that bears not its own provision, but God provides for it and you! He is the All-hearer, the All-knower. 60 And if you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth and made the sun and the moon subservient, they will certainly say, Allah. Whence are they then turned away? 61 God increases the sustenance of whichever of His servants He wants and He determines their share. God has the knowledge of all things. 62 If you were to ask them: "Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" They will surely reply: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" Nay! Most of them have no sense. 63
