Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
