Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
