The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
