The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created- 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Read, and your Lord only is the Most Beneficent, 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 He taught the human being what he did not know. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Indeed towards your Lord only is the return. 8 Did you see him who forbids 9 a worshipper from praying? 10 Bethinkest thou, if he is himself guided, 11 or bade to godfearing -- 12 Have you thought that if he denies and turns away, 13 Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 14 No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - 15 By the lying, the sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), 17 We shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
