The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
