Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O CHILDREN of Israel! Remember those blessings of Mine with which I graced you, and fulfil your promise unto Me, [whereupon] I shall fulfil My promise unto you; and of Me, of Me stand in awe! 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve it. Do not sell My verses for a little price and fear Me. 41 Do not confound truth with falsehood, nor knowingly hide the truth while you know. 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves - and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?! 44 Find strength in fortitude and prayer, which is heavy and exacting but for those who are humble and meek, 45 who know with certainty that they shall meet their Sustainer and that unto Him they shall return. 46
