Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
