[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
