Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
