We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
