Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Has not there come to you the news of the overwhelming calamity? 1 Many faces will be contrite on that day, 2 Labouring, striving hard. 3 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- 4 Given water from the boiling spring to drink. 5 no food for them but cactus thorn 6 which will neither fatten them nor satisfy them. 7 Faces on that day jocund, 8 well-pleased with their striving. 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 wherein they shall hear no vain talk. 11 Therein shall be a spring running! 12 Within it are couches raised high 13 And goblets ready placed! 14 And cushions lined up 15 And carpets ready spread, 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 And the earth, how it was spread out? 20 Therefore remind, you are only a Reminder. 21 You are not at all a guardian over them. 22 But whosoever will turn back and disbelieve 23 him will God cause to suffer the greatest suffering [in the life to come]: 24 Indeed, to Us they shall return, 25 Then indeed, upon Us is their account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
