▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
God the Almighty always says the truth.
