Whatever of misfortune striketh you, it is what your right hands have earned. And He forgiveth much. 30 You are not able to frustrate Him in the earth, nor do you have a guardian and a helper other than Allah. 31 And among His signs are the ships that run on the sea like mountains and 32 If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back (of the sea). Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful. 33 Or He may destroy them because of that which they have earned, and He may pardon many of them. 34 But let those know, who dispute about Our Signs, that there is for them no way of escape. 35 So whatever thing you are given, that is only a provision of this world's life, and what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who believe and rely on their Lord. 36 And those who avoid heinous sins and indecencies, and when they are wroth forgive. 37 Those who hearken to their Lord, and establish regular Prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance; 38 who, when a wrong is done to them, seek its redress. 39 And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers. 40 And indeed whosoever takes revenge after he has suffered wrong, for such there is no way (of blame) against them. 41 The way (of blame) is only against those who oppress men and wrongly rebel in the earth, for such there will be a painful torment. 42 And verily whoso is patient and forgiveth - lo! that, verily, is (of) the steadfast heart of things. 43
