Verily for the God-fearing, are with their Lord Gardens of Delight. 34 What, shall we make those who have surrendered like to the sinners? 35 What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose! 36 Or have ye a scripture wherein ye learn 37 and in which you find all that you may wish to find? 38 Or have ye oaths from Us reaching to the Day of Resurrection, that you shall be that which ye judge? 39 Ask them, who among them is a guarantor for it? 40 Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful! 41 On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able, 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 So leave those who deny this Discourse to Me. We shall lead them step by step to (ruin) in a way they will not know. 44 for, behold, though I may give them rein for a while, My subtle scheme is exceedingly firm! 45 Or are you asking them for some compensation so that they feel burdened with debt? 46 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 47 So be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and be not as the Man of the Fish, when he called, choking inwardly. 48 Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. 49 Then his Lord chose him and placed him among the upright. 50 And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes when they hear the message, and they say, "Indeed, he is mad." 51 But it is not except a reminder to the worlds. 52
