Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 pursuing a straight way 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
