Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
