The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
