۞ (God will command the angels), "Gather together the unjust, their spouses, and what they had worshipped 22 Other than God," (the angels will be told), "then show them the way to Hell, 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 In fact this day they have all surrendered. 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, 29 "And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were transgressing people (disobedient, polytheists, and disbelievers). 30 The sentence of our Lord has come true for us. We have certainly to taste (the punishment), 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Surely thus do We deal with the guilty. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 Nay: he has come with the truth and verified the apostles. 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;- 39 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, 45 Clear, delicious to drink, 46 Neither dulling the senses nor intoxicating, 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 so delicate as the hidden peel under an egg's shell. 49 They will go to one another asking each other questions. 50 one of them will say, "I had a friend, 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 And he will reply: 'Are you looking down (into Hell)' 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I too had been of those haled forth (to doom). 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 “Except our earlier death, and nor will we be punished?” 59 Verily this! that is the supreme achievement. 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hellfire: 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 and they eat of it, and of it fill their bellies, 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. 68 They found their father going astray 69 So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps. 70 So had many an earlier people gone astray, 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
