▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
