The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting courses, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
