1/4 Hizb 35

And [every time] the great ones among his people, who refused to acknowledge the truth and gave the lie to the announcement of a life to come - [simply] because We had granted them ease and plenty in [their] worldly life, and they had become corrupted by it [every time] they would say: "This [man] is nothing hut a mortal like yourselves, eating of what you eat, and drinking of what you drink: 33 "If ye obey a man like yourselves, behold, it is certain ye will be lost. 34 “Does he promise you that when you die and turn into dust and bones, you will be raised again?” 35 ۞ Begone, begone, with that which ye are promised! 36 There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and we shall not be raised (again). 37 He is only a man who invents lies against God, so have no faith in him". 38 He said: my Lord! vindicate for they belie me. 39 He said: In a little while they will most certainly be repenting. 40 Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong! 41 AND AFTER them We gave rise to new generations: 42 No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter]. 43 Then sent We Our Messengers successively; whenever its Messenger came to a nation they cried him lies, so We caused some of them to follow others, and We made them as but tales; so away with a people who do not believe! 44 Thereafter We sent Musa and his brother Harun with Our signs and an authority manifest. 45 To Firon and his chiefs, but they behaved haughtily and they were an insolent people. 46 They said, "Are we to believe in two human beings like ourselves, while their people are subject to us?" 47 So they denied them, and became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We verily gave Moses the Scripture, that haply they might go aright. 49 and We made Mary's son, and his mother, to be a sign, and gave them refuge upon a height, where was a hollow and a spring: 50
