Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
