The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
