Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
