The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
