Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
