And when We assigned to Ibrahim the place of the House, saying: Do not associate with Me aught, and purify My House for those who make the circuit and stand to pray and bow and prostrate themselves. 26 Announce the Pilgrimage to the people. They will come to you on foot and riding along distant roads on lean and slender beasts, 27 that they may witness things profitable to them and mention God's Name on days well-known over such beasts of the flocks as He has provided them: "So eat thereof, and feed the wretched poor." 28 Then let them complete the prescribed duties (Manasik of Hajj) for them, and perform their vows, and circumambulate the Ancient House (the Ka'bah at Makkah). 29 That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement, 30 Devote yourselves to God, not associating any partners with Him. Whoever associates anything with God is like one who falls from heaven and is snatched by the birds or carried away by the wind to a distant place. 31 Thus it is. And whosoever respecteth the rites of Allah, then verily it is from piety of the hearts. 32 In that [God-consciousness] you shall find benefits until a term set [by Him is fulfilled,] and [you shall know that] its goal and end is the Most Ancient Temple. 33
