Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
