The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
