The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And ye are classes three. 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 Who will be honoured 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and spreading shade 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 We have made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For those on the right. 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
