Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know what you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
