O Prophet! say unto thy wives and thy daughters and women of the believers that they should let down upon them their wrapping-garments. That would be more likely to distinguish them so that they will not be affronted. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is a sickness, and the scandal mongers in Madinah do not desist from their vile acts, We shall urge you to take action against them, and then they will hardly be able to stay in the city with you. 60 bereft of God's grace, they shall be seized wherever they may be found, and slain one and all. 61 [This is] the established way of Allah with those who passed on before; and you will not find in the way of Allah any change. 62 People ask thee ccncerning the Hour. Say thou: the knowledge thereof is only with Allah: and what knowest thou! belike the Hour is nigh. 63 Lo! Allah hath cursed the disbelievers, and hath prepared for them a flaming fire, 64 Wherein they will abide for ever, and they will find neither a Wali (a protector) nor a helper. 65 On that Day when their faces shall be turned around in the Fire, they will say: “Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger.” 66 And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way. 67 O our Sustainer! Give them double suffering, and banish them utterly from Thy grace!" 68
