۞ But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped 22 instead of God, and lead them all onto the way to the blazing fire, 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 Nay, but that Day they shall surrender, 26 And they will turn to one another and question one another. 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 On that Day they will all share the punishment: 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 But Allah's chosen servants (shall be spared this woeful end). 40 For them is a Sustenance determined, 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 In gardens of pleasure 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 A drink will be passed round among them from a flowing spring: 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 "Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)? 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?" 54 He looked down and saw (his friend) in the midst of Hell. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 And but for the favour of my lord, I should have been of those brought forward. 57 So, are we not going to die, 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 Lo! this is the supreme triumph. 60 For such a reward should the workers perform. 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 It is a tree that grows in the nethermost part of Hell. 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; 66 And behold, above all this they will be confounded with burning despair! 67 They can only return to hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
