The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and a few from later times. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 Gushing water, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For the sake of the companions of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
