What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 high above? 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
