Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
