Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And removed your burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And We have exalted your remembrance for you. 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
